Threading & Style
Backtagging: Yes, very necessary. I, myself, am on the slower side.
Boomeranging: I tend to take my time with tags and I'm perfectly fine with receiving quick tags in return – as long as it's understood that I may not be able to match that speed on my end.
Tagging Style: Both prose and brackets are fine with me. I don't have a strong preference for one over the other, so I'm happy to match whichever style is most comfortable for you. I like a smaller text size for my brackets, but if that makes my tags less accessible for you, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm always happy to adjust.
Threadhopping: I love a good threadhop. If you'd like to jack our thread with another character of yours, please, yes, just do it.
Fourth-Walling: Every once in a while, sure! Maybe not the entire thread. I don't have much experience with fourth-walling, but I'm definitely open to giving it a try.
Retconning: If a thread goes in a direction you'd like to retcon, let me know. We can brainstorm a tag edit, restart the thread from a different point, or come up with something else entirely. I'm pretty easygoing, especially with collaborating.
IC Interactions
Physical Contact: On an OOC level, you have my permission for all forms of physical contact without the need for prior discussion.
This includes (but is not limited to) hugging, kissing, caressing, hand-holding, supportive gestures, pushing/shoving, hitting, lifting, punching, flicking, slapping, and much more.
On an IC level, Hackett's response would vary greatly, and if your character engages, you are accepting the potential consequences!
Flirting: Please, yes. Go for it!
Sex: (F/M) I'm open to this after several threads of relationship building and prior discussion. I'd prefer to pair him with someone age 30 and up, but I'd be open to younger depending on the character's maturity. Strictly no one under 25 in body and/or mind, though. Accepted canonmate pairings are: Shepard, Miranda (attraction will never be the default assumption on my end).
Conflict: Yes, all types.
Violence: Yes, but sexual violence is off the table.
Telepathy/Mind-Reading: Yes, but let's discuss beforehand to make sure we're both on the same page.
Notes & Warnings
Note 1: Hackett strictly adheres to military protocols, and the Alliance has regs against fraternization. However, in the realm of RP, those regs will be more relaxed — especially for threads outside military interactions. This'll help make the character more approachable to canonmates (and RP-friendly in general) without compromising his values.
Note 2: If you have any questions or wish to opt-out, please let me know in this entry. All comments are screened.
Warnings: None that I can think of.

Timeline: Post-ME3, year 2186 (AHEM compliant)
VA: Lance Henriksen
PHYSICAL
Age: 52
Height: 6'1"
Note: Clean-cut scar slashed across the right side of his face.
BACKGROUND
He was born in Buenos Aires in 2134 and was raised by a single mother. After losing her to the 2146 pandemic, he became a ward of the state, and was sent to the Advanced Training Academy for Juveniles where his exceptional aptitude in science and leadership set him apart early.
Hackett enlisted as soon as he turned 18, taking on high-risk campaigns as part of the Alliance's mission to colonize space beyond the Sol system. His natural leadership and tactical brilliance were standout qualities that accelerated his rise through the ranks. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in 2156, and soon demonstrated his abilities in the First Contact War.
"His rare ascent from enlisted man to admiral remains an Alliance legend." —In-game codex. In 2186, Hackett presided over humanity's most ambitious undertaking: the construction of a superweapon designed to defeat the reapers, dubbed the "Crucible."
His scientific background gave him an inherent grasp of the project's scope. The project itself was handled by departments of experts from every species of the galaxy, and Hackett oversaw them all.
Amidst this monumental effort, humanity's councilor was killed, and Hackett assumed command of all Alliance forces, becoming humanity's de facto leader. His role in the Crucible's development, in holding off an invasion of superior forces, and in preparing for the battle against the reapers proved vital to the Milky Way's survival.
